About The Capstone School

The Capstone School, originally named Children’s World, is an independent Christian School, and a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Since its founding in 1997 as a pre-primary feeder school to the top schools in the region, the school has steadily built a strong reputation for the excellence of its programs and the character of its school community. A number of the school’s past pupils have been elected to leadership positions and achieved top academic honours.

In response to ongoing requests from parents and the community, the school adopted its present name and the first cohort of primary pupils was enrolled in 2016. Integral to this transition, the expanded school relocated to its present campus.

The Capstone School is located on two charming properties in the upper avenues of Walmer. The campus boasts beautiful trees that create a unique, peaceful teaching-learning environment. The abundance of open spaces, where Guinea fowls play on the lawns and monkeys frolic in the trees, enhances the beauty of the campus. In tandem with the beauty, history and traditions of the campus, the school’s teaching ethos creates a peaceful teaching-learning environment where learners grow, collaborate and learn through the environment.  The outdoor classrooms at The Capstone School provide the ideal platform where learners can observe, reflect, think deeply and express themselves.
